Lovely colour, with beautiful fruit, an elegant structure and excellent length. Batailley's little brother, run by the same technical team, on gravel soil in the heart of Pauillac. Blend roughly 72% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot and 8% Petit Verdot, fermented 14 to 18 days and aged 18 months in oak, around 30% new. Good with red meat, lamb, venison or cheese.
